The drop off 2s program is designed for children turning 2 by the beginning of September and will be a foundational experience for toddlers.
The Threes program is designed to promote socialization skills while providing an environment for discovery and exploration of music, art, science, math, social studies and large and small motor skills.
The Fours PreK program is enriched with rigorous content and developmentally appropriate experiences that promote creativity, thinking, problem-solving, confidence, social/emotional intelligence, autonomy and independence.
The Fives PreK progam is built on a developmentally appropriate, project-based curriculum, designed to further challenge your child's social, physical, academic, and creative development using the CT Early Learning and Development Standards as cross-walked for Kindergarten.
Additional programs including Early Morning Studio and Lunch Bunch are offered on a daily basis.
In addition to core curriculum, enrichment courses are offered in Movement and Music, Art, Math/Science, Drama and Music. Enrichment programs provide an opportunity for children to build mastery in content beyond core curriculum subjects, deepening skills and interests.
Five Mile River Nursery School offers a 9 week Summer Camp program in June/July.

A fun day of play with seasonal art and sensory experiences, games, music, snack, dramatic play, stories and of course play on the playground or in the "big room." Bring your lunch, we eat together around 12:15pm. A surprise visit from Santa is an annual feature for our pre-holiday camp.
