Five Mile River Nursery School was privileged to be the first nationally accredited preschool under the new assessment standards in Connecticut, and one of the first 17 in the nation. We offer 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's Preschool programs, Enrichment programs and Summer Camp. Our mission at Five Mile River Nursery School is to provide a warm, nurturing, and engaging atmosphere allowing children to be creative and adventurous learners. Our school focuses on the development of the whole child: intellectual, social-emotional, moral, creative and physical. Our goal is to inspire self confidence, curiosity and a love of learning. Our second children's service day is on March 18th 9:30-11:30. We will be assembling school kits to send to displaced children all over the world! We will also be collecting Easter Baskets with treats and hygiene supplies for children at the Open Door Shelter. Watch for more information! And thank you for your donations to support our efforts!
